On Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, the Chief Executive Officer of Ingabo Farmers’ Syndicate, Mr. Francois Xavier Mbabazi, held a consultative meeting with representatives from INDATWA, COAMELIKA, COPRORIZ, IABM, and the Catholic Institute of Kabgayi. The meeting focused on discussing a project aimed at increasing the irrigated land available to members of the aforementioned cooperatives.
The project will be implemented by these cooperatives in collaboration with Ingabo Farmers’ Syndicate, the Catholic University of Kabgayi, and DELTA TECH. It will be funded by the Rwanda Development Bank (RDB). The initiative will utilize advanced water harvesting and distribution technology, particularly methods successfully applied in Egypt. DELTA TECH, with its extensive experience in this field, will provide the necessary technical expertise.
Following the discussion, all participants expressed strong support for the project and committed to collaborating on it from the proposal stage through to implementation.
